I have a 2010 Electric RXV. Occasionally I have a problem getting my cart to go especially forward. If I turn the key right away to F it will not go. If I turn the key back off, turn the key to R, hear a click and then turn it to F, sometimes it will go. But sometimes, I have to keep repeating doing that, or sometimes if I turn to R, let it click, back up a little bit, then switch to F it will go forward most of the time. Then problem is if I park to close to something or someone pulls in close to me, and I don't have room to back up. I also notice that when I have this problem, and have to switch the key back and forth it drains the battery down faster even if I don't move. Thanks

OK you shamed me into looking at my battery system! I know the battery is old and the terminals need replacing so that is my next little cart project.

In my Yamaha 2018 gas, (it was the last carb engine used) it seems to run rich. Rebuilt the carb two years ago. Followed your instructions and it runs great but it has the smell of unburnt fuel. Choke seems to work. Ideas?

This might be our problem as well 2009 EZGO RXV with 48v Lithium, We were riding around full speed yesterday and all of a sudden it started to slow down and we could smell what we thought was burning wire/electrical. we stopped lifted the seat and I checked all the wires, nothing was hot to the touch and the small was not coming from directly under the seat, I also checked the ignition key and it was all good. the more I think about it and watched this video, I think I fried my E-Brake.

Could a stop switch cause the starter generator to barley turn? I have a new starter generator and voltage regulator and the other day it wouldn't start. The starter generator barely moves new battery last year and it has plenty of voltage. Love your videos

What are the conditions necessary to get it to energize? key on? Brake pedal? accelerator pedal on?

I play at a course that has recently purchased all new EZGO golf carts with the electronic automatic brake. And I'm very impressed how easily it works. With this new EZGO golf cart you're braking just to slow down and you don't have to lock the brakes on a hill becuz it locks the brakes automatically. It's a joy to ride goes over cart paths that have been invaded by large rooted trees and handles holes in the course very well. And I own a 1990 EZGO electric Marathon that I'll be changing the brakes on soon so thanks for putting this up!

I have an ‘07 TXT. Which Carburetor did you go with? OEM or something off of Amazon? Also, is the ‘07 engine a 295?

I have a Yamaha g22 that I have replaced five starter generators on in the last few years. I've replaced the petal switch and voltage regulator. When running, the system charges the battery like it should. I'm lost as to what could be the issue. Any advice would be appreciated. Love the content!

i put a new starter generator on my 95 g14 and it starts great but its not charing and the red light beside of the switch key is on when you turn on the switch and it wasnt before any thoughts i sure would appreciate any help i need this thing around my property thanks again

Why didn't you check the oil before turning over? If I saw this and this was my unit I'd be upset.

Is there ever any need to use the adjustment screws on the carb? I can't find much info on that

Hi Kevin, I have a 2001 ez go gas cart. I wanted some more speed so I adjusted the throttle cable and the governor. I ram it around the yard then it started sputtering a died. Now it only runs when I hold the choke. Any ideas what I did? Could it be flooded?

I have the same one but my problem is it bogs under load and also when its in neutral..I've adjusted the carb even cleaned it out.. new gaskets..pretty much a full tune-up.. I've looked on line and it says 1.5 turns on the screw for the carb. I've tried 1.5...2..2.5..even 1..still bogs and back fires..any idea ?. I have to pull the choke to get it to run

Im fighring this exact issue right now. What was the root cause here? I mean you basically removed it and cleaned it, then replaced it and it worked. Do you think the naked wires were grounding it out? Im referring to the starter portion.

Hey Kevin. I just purchased a 2004 EZ GO gas cart with a Robin motor. My first question is did these come with an air filter box or can? Second question is after we did compression test and made adjustments to .006, we did get better compression but only 90 psi on both cylinders, both spark plugs are firing but the engine only busts off and runs when we have the short spark plug wire off the plug and the long spark plug wire on the plug. It doesn’t run great but it will still somewhat run. What do I need to check?

Any idea where I can find that f/r plate that the cables connect to? Shows it about 8 seconds in the video

Do you have any suggestions on how to remove the pivot bolt on a starter for one of these i’ve gotten as far as taking the nut off, but that bolt blow the starter is seized in the chassis I can’t seem to get any hammer or a good leverage. I was wondering if you had any helpful suggestions thanks really enjoy your videos.
